Our Story
M&L Rodas Landscape is an independent, locally run business built around a simple position: agree what is being built before building it. Most of what goes wrong on a landscaping job goes wrong underground, out of sight, where a corner was cut on a base or a drain — and by the time it shows, the finished surface has to come up to fix it. So we quote from a walk-through, put the stages and the materials in writing, and say plainly what is not included.
From our base at 1252 Marian Way in Petaluma we cover three counties — Petaluma, Penngrove, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Windsor, and Sonoma in Sonoma County; Napa and American Canyon in Napa County; and Novato, San Rafael, Ross, San Anselmo, Fairfax, Larkspur, Greenbrae, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, and Tiburon across Marin. Demolition, garden maintenance, planting, irrigation, decking, fencing, concrete, artificial turf, and natural grass.
Doing all nine in-house is the point rather than a boast. It means the stages happen in the right order — drainage and irrigation before hardscape, hardscape before planting, lawn last — instead of one trade digging up what the previous one just finished. And when something needs sorting afterwards, there is one number to call and no argument about whose work it was.

If a real lawn suits your garden better than turf, we will say so. If a fence only needs its posts replaced, we will tell you that instead of quoting a new one.

Our Promise
You approve the scope and the price before we start. If something turns up underground that changes the job — old footings, buried debris, a line nobody knew about — we stop, call you, and re-price it rather than carrying on and putting a surprise on the invoice.
